Thank you, thank you, thank you!
I definitely did not think that I would make it this far with my blog. I love writing... on my own terms of course. I don't overly enjoy typing away on my computer for a school assignment that I personally didn't consent to participate in (ooor I guess I did, after I forked over $950 for the course). But blogging is so much better. I get to write about whatever it is that I want, I can choose exactly how I want everything to look, and I can decided when my due dates are (does "never" count as a due date? that's my most frequent one #whoops).
Blog writing is the best type of writing! I'm just the worst at keeping up with it. I'm determined that this time I'm going to be successful in keeping up with my blog. Now, I know that people say that all the time and then they inevitably fall off the face of the planet for the next three months, but I have a good feeling about this!
My track record for being dedicated to things has been improving recently; I've been (for the most part) succeeding at eating healthy for the past four and a half months, I'm at least halfway through all of the reading that I have to do for my summer course next week, I've gone for a walk every single day since moving back to my parent's house for the summer. I think I can keep up with posting on my blog at least twice a month. *insert half-convincing smile here*
Seriously though, I think I've got this.
....Please show me this post in six months when I've potentially fallen off the face of the planet for at least two of those months.
Except that won't happen, because I'm not going to let it!
I'm a determined homo sapien.

ReplyDeleteI love blogging because I can be as informal as I want to be, unlike school papers.
